Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using Rivle, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13, meet any higher minimum age where you live, and have authority to accept these Terms.
Accounts
Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and notify support of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Predictions are not gambling
Rivle predictions are for entertainment and reputation. Rivle does not accept wagers, hold betting funds, guarantee outcomes, or provide financial, gambling, or investment advice.
User content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant Rivle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt that content only as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.
Acceptable use
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not abuse systems, scrape without permission, evade security controls, infringe rights, upload malware, manipulate rankings, spam, impersonate others, or interfere with users or the service.
Public content and messages
You are responsible for what you post or send. User-created communities are public and may identify their creator. Public profile text, community names and descriptions, posts, polls, photo descriptions, comments, and replies are checked before publication using Rivle’s automated Community Guidelines safeguards. Uploaded photos are screened on Rivle’s server with a self-hosted sexual-content safety model before they are shared. Private-message text receives local severe-abuse and spam checks before delivery but is not routinely sent to an external classification service. A message or photo that a participant reports may be sent to OpenAI for automated safety review and preserved for abuse handling. Reported content may also be reviewed by Rivle’s administrator.
Moderation and enforcement
Rivle may investigate conduct, remove content, issue warnings, temporarily restrict creating communities, posting, commenting, and messaging, and preserve information when reasonably necessary for safety, enforcement, or legal compliance. Rivle currently uses temporary feature restrictions rather than account suspensions. Automated sanctions follow the progression described in the Community Guidelines and may be appealed through Support.
Third-party services and sports data
Rivle depends on infrastructure, email, device, app-store, sharing, and sports-data services it does not control. Scores, schedules, links, and prediction results may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivle is provided as is and as available without implied warranties. Rivle does not guarantee uninterrupted service or prediction accuracy. Rivle is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss. Aggregate liability is limited to the greater of amounts you paid Rivle during the preceding twelve months or US$100, except where law prohibits that limitation.
Changes and disputes
Features and these Terms may change. Material updates will receive notice when required. Mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable laws remain in effect. Contact support first so concerns can be addressed informally.
Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy below is incorporated into these Terms. A separate copy remains available at /privacy for app-store, account-creation, and direct-link requirements.

Information we collect
Rivle collects account details, verification status, profile information, settings, posts, uploaded photos and descriptions, comments, polls, predictions, follows, likes, communities you create and join, community names and descriptions, blocks, mutes, messages, and support requests. Our infrastructure also processes limited device, network, request, and diagnostic information required to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and protect accounts, deliver verification and security messages, operate Rivle features, honor settings and blocks, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, enforce our rules, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
Service providers may process information only to help operate Rivle, including Render for hosting and storage, Resend for transactional email, OpenAI for automated safety classification of public text and reported evidence, app-store services, and sports-data services. Uploaded photos are ordinarily screened on Rivle’s server with a self-hosted safety model. Private-message text receives local automated checks for severe abuse and spam but is not routinely sent to an external classification service. A message or photo reported by a participant may be sent to OpenAI for automated safety review. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect users or Rivle, with your direction, or as part of a corporate transaction. Rivle does not sell personal information or private messages and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Public activity
Profiles, posts, comments, predictions, reputation, community names and descriptions, creator attribution, memberships, and community activity may be visible to other users. Privacy controls affect visibility inside Rivle but cannot guarantee deletion of copies previously shared by other people.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide Rivle. In-app account deletion removes the account and associated content from active records, except information temporarily retained for security, fraud prevention, disputes, backups, or legal compliance.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile information, change your email or password, manage notifications, block or mute accounts, delete eligible content, and permanently delete your account in Settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent.
Children
Rivle is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Users must meet any higher minimum age required where they live.
Security and transfers
Rivle uses safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. Information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws using safeguards required by applicable law.
