Privacy Policy

Information we collect
Rivle collects account details, verification status, profile information, settings, posts, uploaded photos and descriptions, comments, polls, predictions, follows, likes, communities you create and join, community names and descriptions, blocks, mutes, messages, and support requests. Our infrastructure also processes limited device, network, request, and diagnostic information required to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use information to create and protect accounts, deliver verification and security messages, operate Rivle features, honor settings and blocks, provide support, prevent abuse, maintain reliability, enforce our rules, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
Service providers may process information only to help operate Rivle, including Render for hosting and storage, Resend for transactional email, OpenAI for automated safety classification of public text and reported evidence, app-store services, and sports-data services. Uploaded photos are ordinarily screened on Rivle’s server with a self-hosted safety model. Private-message text receives local automated checks for severe abuse and spam but is not routinely sent to an external classification service. A message or photo reported by a participant may be sent to OpenAI for automated safety review. Information may also be disclosed when legally required, to protect users or Rivle, with your direction, or as part of a corporate transaction. Rivle does not sell personal information or private messages and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Public activity
Profiles, posts, comments, predictions, reputation, community names and descriptions, creator attribution, memberships, and community activity may be visible to other users. Privacy controls affect visibility inside Rivle but cannot guarantee deletion of copies previously shared by other people.
Retention and deletion
We retain information while an account is active and as needed to provide Rivle. In-app account deletion removes the account and associated content from active records, except information temporarily retained for security, fraud prevention, disputes, backups, or legal compliance.
Your choices and rights
You can edit profile information, change your email or password, manage notifications, block or mute accounts, delete eligible content, and permanently delete your account in Settings. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent.
Children
Rivle is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Users must meet any higher minimum age required where they live.
Security and transfers
Rivle uses safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. Information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws using safeguards required by applicable law.
